A diptych is a form of art told in two parts - two panels, often hinged, designed to be viewed side by side. Each one distinct, yet together forming a deeper, more complete story. In whisky, we see the same story when casks diverge, evolve, and reunite.
This Diptych Collection brings together two single casks from the same distillery, both distilled in 1994 and matured for 28 years in oloroso sherry butts before being additionally matured into first fill Pedro Ximénez casks - one American oak, the other Spanish.
These final years of maturation highlight the contrasts in oak character. While one leans into soft orchard fruits, pastry, and honeyed warmth, the other dives deep into spice, dark berries, sandalwood and leather. Each whisky stands alone - but side by side, they form a portrait: one distillery, one age, two sherry paths, one complete picture.
