Sweet scents of fine ladies' perfume and balsa wood wafted past with a heavenly hue. Soft fruits soothed the senses with lychee, papaya and wild strawberries whilst ginger combined with mint humbugs for a sticky combination similar to cough sweets. Herbal notes gave greater depth with elements of fennel and liquorice framed by fresh pinewood. Sweet orange and mango emerged with a dash of water, bundled with butter pastry and an ice cream sandwich. With a soft flow we drifted into butterscotch, oak and vanilla dusted with Chinese five spice. The finish engaged ginger beer served with brown toast and soft oak.
